This Week In Hong Kong Disneyland

Story

This Week in HKDL

Coming Soon Welcome to what will hopefully be the first of many regular park updates. Thanks to a few contacts, we'll be bringing you photos, tidbits and other news. This week: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

With Christmas festivities kicking off this week in the park, our roving eyes report that the Christmas Tree is already up in Town Square, although it is yet to be lit. This will occur in a nightly lighting ceremony kicking off on Saturday (November 11).

The Disneyland Story on Main Street is displaying a sign similar to the one displayed below:

A sign of things to come?

A sign of things to come?

The last time this was displayed was to signal the Villains Lair during the Halloween period. Now we tend to agree with the prevailing theory that Santa Claus is setting up his shop there. We'll keep you posted.

A giant crane has also been spotted for several months behind the Goldens Mickeys/Storybook Theatre in Fantasyland. It is still there, giving rise to speculation that a new Fantasyland attraction - most probably the popular It's A Small World - is to be announced any time now.

That's it for now, but be sure to come back in a week or so for more photos, news and other stuff we can't get from a press release.
