Award-Winning Menu Adds to the Culinary Magic at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort

The Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is set to showcase the creative menu that took top honors in this year's hotly contested 2006 Meat & Livestock (MLA) Australia Black Box Culinary Challenge.

 

 

 

From November 5 until November 26, 2006, the talented team of young Disney chefs will be serving up the magical menu that won Best First Course and Best Main Course as well as Overall Winner to guests at Disney's Hollywood Hotel. These tantalizing creations have secured the Disney culinary team's place in the Black Box Culinary Challenge Global Pacific Regional Final scheduled to take place in Dubai in 2008.

 

"It was an honor to receive this year's MLA Black Box Culinary Challenge Awards and we are thrilled to be representing Hong Kong at the upcoming global competition where our team will strive to make the city proud," said Rudolf Muller, Executive Chef, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. "At the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, we are dedicated to inspiring our guests through creative and delicious menus with of course a dash of our Disney culinary magic."

Only 20 sets of the exquisite three-course menu will be available for guests each evening, making it an exclusive dining experience for a discerning few. The menu features a Deluxe Norwegian Salmon Combination with Cucumber Yoghurt, Sun-dried Tomato & Lemon Mayonnaise as an entree, followed by Seared Australian Lamb Steak & Beef Ravioli with Tomato Coulis as the main course.

 

An aromatically-infused creative Rosemary Apple Panna Cotta will bring about a delightful finale to the dining experience. The Award-Winning Black Box Menu is priced at HK$238 per person (plus 10%) and is available at Chef Mickey at Disney's Hollywood Hotel from 6pm until 10pm, during the special promotion period.

The Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel's equally impressive MLA Black Box culinary creations are also set to tantalize guests at the Grand Salon. On the menu is an Enchanted Salmon Plate as a starter, followed by a succulent combination of Braised Lamb & Fantasy Beef as the main course. For dessert, a Chocolate & Fruit Delight offers a sweet lusciously ending to the meal. The Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel Black Box Menu is priced at HK$238 (plus 10%) and is also available from 6pm until 10pm, during the special promotion period. Likewise, only 20 sets of the menu will be served each evening.
