Hong Kong Diseyland officially announces the full details of their Christmas festivities for 2007. With the Sparkling Castle Lights, the Let It Snow Christmas Parade, Ice Fantasy and Santa's Workshop, you won't want to miss a second of Christmas in HKDL. We've got some new photos too!

Hong Kong (November 7, 2007) This Christmas will be one to remember, as Hong Kong Disneyland lights up the season with all-new immersive festival offerings, during Disney’s Sparkling Christmas.

From November 23, 2007 to January 2, 2008, guests can experience Christmas themed attractions and entertainment that will bring a never-before-seen radiance to the festive season. The astounding Sparkling Castle Lights will appear to transform Sleeping Beauty Castle into thousands of shimmering diamonds, sure to wow guests; while the ‘Let It Snow’ Christmas Parade, Ice Fantasy and Santa’s Workshop will bring guests of all ages, and their beloved, closer for a heart warming Christmas season.

Here are the exciting, all-new elements our guests can expect during Disney’s Sparkling Christmas:

Sparkling Castle Lights & Ice Fantasy

As the radiant centerpiece of Disney’s Sparkling Christmas, Maestro Mickey Mouse commands this enthralling symphony that will fill the air with a whirlwind of light, color and music. Every evening Mickey Mouse will transform Sleeping Beauty Castle into thousands of sparkling diamonds that will shine and shimmer on the evening skyline.

Four ice sculptures of timeless Disney Princesses will glitter softly at the hub, along with Cinderella’s Carriage, creating the perfect romantic atmosphere for a photo moment in Ice Fantasy.

Santa’s Workshop

Guests of all ages can immerse themselves in, and get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of, the secret workings at Santa’s workshop! Oversized and colorful decorations and ornaments fill every corner of the big guy’s workshop, and the smell of candy and Christmas goodies fill the air. Elves run around their whimsical kitchen cooking or preparing the mountain of gifts for children all around the world. Santa will be available for one-on-one meet and greets to wish each and every guest a very merry Christmas!

‘Let It Snow’ Christmas Parade

For an awe inspiring and sensational Christmas party, Disney’s Sparkling Christmas invites guests to get down with the ultra groovy ‘Let It Snow’ Christmas Parade. A high energy procession filled with brilliant gold and silver decorations, Mickey Mouse and the Gang, Festive Elves, Chip’n Dale and many others will dance, sing and shine their way down Main Street U.S.A. in all-new costumes. Rocking versions of Christmas classics will fill the air, while snow gently drifts to the ground.

All the while, Main Street U.S.A. will be decorated in a snowy Christmas theme with frozen garlands and icicles hanging from rafters. Guests will be able to see the extravagant Christmas tree at Town Square, ornately decorated with snowflakes and an all-new white LED lighting display. Guests will be given hologram glasses, that will give them special Christmas vision, as dusk falls and the Castle lights come on.

What’s more, throughout the Park and the two Disney themed hotels, over 100 Christmas themed F&B items in 15 outlets, and 150 merchandise items will be available to satisfy every palate and fulfill any holiday gift ideas.

Guests staying at the two Disney themed hotels can take advantage of the special ‘Stay and Play for 2 Days ’ (1) offer that allows admission into the Hong Kong Disneyland Park for two days for the price of one, to fully experience the festive season that will be created by Disney’s Sparkling Christmas!
