One of our wonderful spies has sent us some very fresh and very exciting new photos of the "it's a small world" construction. Plus, we've got snaps of some brand new merchandise for September's 2nd anniversary!
Our wonderful Spy Mickey20d has just returned from Hong Kong Disneyland, and had his trusty camera with him on the trip. He has excitedly sent us brand new photos of the construction of the forthcoming it's a small world attraction, as well as some new merchandise out to celebrate the park's 2nd anniversary in September.
The it's a small world construction photos show us that they are really coming along with the framework of the attraction. Much of the exterior is starting to resemble the ride we all know and love, and it seems pre-fabricated bits of turrets are being put in place as we speak. Hopefully this all means that they are on target for the rumoured April 2008 launch.
In the meantime, we have several events to keep us occupied. One of these is the September 12 anniversary of the opening of the park, which coincidentally takes place exactly two years after the park opened. Funny that! Mickey20d has spotted some merch out in the shops already, largely in pin and biscuit form. It is great to see they have gone with original (as far as we know) designs this time out, rather than modifying the original Disneyland's 50th Anniversary merchandise as was done for the first anniversary last year. We've got his photos right here in our Scenes From the Park Gallery:
Don't forget: you can visit our Gallery for more photos of this kind whenever you like!
