Disney Plans Third Hotel

Story

In The Press

HotelThe Chinese press has released some exciting details. Bill Ernest has announced that he has plans to build a third hotel at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort!

According to the China Hospitality News:

Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Bill Ernest says that based on the satisfactory room occupancy of its existing two hotels, Hong Kong Disneyland plans to build a third hotel to meet growing demand.

The new hotel is reported to be located between Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Hollywood Hotel. Hong Kong Disneyland says they will fix a schedule for the construction of this hotel based on the demand and will discuss details with the government later.

However, Bill Ernest says as this hotel won't be completed for a few more years, the land proposed for the site will continue to be used for sporting activities.

The sporting activities that Ernest refers to are the Asia-Pacific Little League Regional Tournament that has been held on Resort grounds for the last two years.

So it seems that things may not be as dire as one would think. Both Disney hotels in Hong Kong are first-class Disney experiences, and whatever may be said about the park, they have certainly not cut any corners on the hotel.

We look forward to bringing you more news on this exciting development!
