Some closures and scheduling lead us to believe that the new Pirates of the Caribbean film will be debuting in Hong Kong Disneyland this Tuesday - and we want you to be there for us!
Pirate Land is closing at 4:00 PM this Tuesday (22 May) "due to a special event", and we reckon that can only mean one thing - a Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End-related event.
The third film in this mega-successful series opens around the world this week, and in Hong Kong cinemas specifically on May 24. This seems like perfect timing for an event in the newly-christened Pirate Land.
In a related note, the Golden Mickeys Theatre in Fantasyland is closed, leading to some speculation on our part that the film will be screened in there.
If you are in a position to head down to the park on Tuesday afternoon/evening and take a chance that the premiere is happening, and would like to take some photos for us, we'd really appreciate it. You can either click on the Contact Us button, or email me directly.
We hope to bring you more details of the upcoming events in tomorrow's This Week in Hong Kong Disneyland column, as well as some more details from Disney later in the week.
