A selected group of children got their 10th birthday presents early, as Disney begins the Complimentary Deluxe Annual Pass promotion in honour of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
PRESS RELEASE: Thirty children from Hong Kong and Guangzhou born on 1st July 1997, a historic day for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), gathered at Hong Kong Disneyland (HKDL) today to enjoy the privilege of redeeming their Complimentary Deluxe Annual Pass (CDAP) in advance of the official redemption period.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Hong Kong Disneyland is offering all children born in 1997, regardless of their place of birth, a year of complimentary visits to the Park. The redemption will be open for all eligible Guests from 15th May to 1st July 2007.
The thirty children were thrilled to be the first group to get their CDAP. They were particularly excited to receive their passes which feature designs specially launched to commemorate this historic moment for the city. The new passes feature adorable Disney characters posing in front of Hong Kong’s legendary skyline. These designs will also be used on admission tickets throughout the HKSAR 10th Anniversary year.

Eligible Guests can redeem their CDAP within opening hours during the redemption period. Guest can simply approach the dedicated ticket booths at the Main Entrance to the Park to claim their complimentary pass, which will be instantly personalized with the Guest’s name.
To shorten the waiting time for those redeeming their CDAP, eligible Guests are encouraged to pre-register online, this facility will be available on HKDL’s official website www.hongkongdisneyland.com from 15th May, the first day of redemption.
This group of privileged young Guests will have a chance to immerse themselves in interactive pirate adventures in our recently launched Pirate Takeover. They will also be able to enjoy the new attraction and parade to be unveiled at Hong Kong Disneyland this summer –the creative Animation Academy, and the water-based parade, Mickey’s WaterWorks.
In addition to the Complimentary Deluxe Annual Pass offer, Hong Kong Disneyland will also launch a variety of commemorative collectible items during the celebration period. There will be a limited edition pin set featuring classic Disney designs with unique Hong Kong scenes, exclusively for sale at Hong Kong Disneyland. And every lucky Guest visiting the Park on 1 July 2007 will be presented with an original HKSAR 10th Anniversary themed gift.
COMPLIMENTARY DELUXE ANNUAL PASS
Who: This offer is open to all Guests born in 1997.
What: Each eligible Guest is entitled to one Complimentary Deluxe Annual Pass (”CDAP”) for Hong Kong Disneyland.
When: Guests must redeem their Complimentary Deluxe Annual Pass between 15th May 2007 – 1st July 2007.
Validity: One year from date of issue.
How:
Guests are required to produce personal identification when redeeming and using their Complimentary Deluxe Annual Pass.
For Eligible Guests from the HKSAR: Both (i) birth certificate and (ii) school handbook or valid passport with photo.
For Eligible Guests from Mainland China: Valid Exit-Entry Permit for Traveling to and from Hong Kong and Macau.
For Eligible Guests from the Macau Special Administrative Region: Macau SAR Resident Identity Card.
For Eligible Guests from other territories: Valid passport with photo.
Parents or guardians may pre-register on behalf of Eligible Guests on the Hong Kong Disneyland website www.hongkongdisneyland.com.
