Pirates, buses and ducks - oh my! HKDL Source proudly brings you a fresh crop of photographic delight from the eyes of our Chief Spy.
We've got a couple of snazzy new photos from the park from the last week or so, and of course a number of them are pirate related. However, just because we dare to be different, we'll start with the non-piratey ones first.
Our Chief Spy reports that the Omnibus has replaced the castle in the daily Disney on Parade for the last week or so. As you can see, Mickey and the gang are riding about on public transport these days. Hope they have their Octopus cards:
The Opera House has returned to a state of grace, having been variously known as Santa's Workshop and That Place that Has the Penguins from it's a small world. It now has many of the old features we've grown to love or say 'meh' to back in place.
From the MythBusters category, here is proof that water doesn't roll off a duck's back.
We've resisted long enough, so we'll now just go ahead and throw a small selection of the new Pirates photos at you. We have to admit, while this may not be the mountain-ride we all craved, it does seem to be a lot of fun.
This group of pirates seems to be having a fair bit of fun in the park. Do you think real pirates would visit a theme park in Hong Kong? The answer is: probably.
Finally, we could be mistaken, but we don't think that umbrella is historically accurate. Unless, of course, she went to the 'Enda dee Eart' to find it.
That's not all, folks. Be sure to visit our Pirates Takeover 2007 Gallery, which now boasts almost 100 photos from the event...and counting! Either that or you could visit our Gallery homepage, where we house almost 800 images. That figure just keeps going up, and we always welcome more photos from guests. Please feel free to contact us if you have more.
Stay tuned for more photos. Tomorrow's This Week in Hong Kong Disneyland will include a few more snaps, including one of the ongoing construction near the entrance to the park.
