Disneyland Resort Line wins Green Building Award
Story
The MTR Disneyland Resort Line/Sunny Bay Station has won the Grand Prize in the first Green Building Awards.
This year's awards, organized by the Professional Green Building Council ("PGBC"), are a means of "recognition to buildings and research projects with outstanding features and contributions to sustainability and the environment and also to encourage industry players to further adopt sustainable planning, design, construction and maintenance of buildings."
The Professional Green Building Council was formed in 2002 by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA), the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects (HKILA), the Institute of Planners (HKIP) and the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS).
